We have started a new service called Common Ground Composting for Madison-area residents who would like to divert their food waste out of the landfills and into something useful! For individuals and businesses that would like to compost but do not have space or time to manage a compost system, we help you recycle food waste into a quality soil supplement and growing medium used in the Madison area by farmers and gardeners.
We provide you with a kitchen compost system and pick up your compost on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
For individuals and families, weekly pick up is $34 per month and bi-weekly service is $26 per month.
For businesses, prices depend on the particular circumstances of needs for waste removal.
Finished compost will be delivered back to customers based on the amount of scraps we collect. Individuals and businesses can decide whether they would like the compost or if they'd like to donate it to a local garden or project.
